Product Security is a relatively new discipline of engineering, and one that is of increasing importance from a safety, regulatory and business standpoint. It is sometimes perceived as being principally a ‘technology problem’ with corresponding ‘technology solutions’. In this talk, Alex will explore some of its wider characteristics - business, organisational and cultural - and share some observations on the associated challenges and opportunities.

About Alexandra Hall

Alex Hall is Head of Product Security for the Rolls-Royce Group. She heads a global team, working across all the Rolls-Royce Divisions, in multiple geographies. She joined Rolls-Royce in 2020, having previously been Director of the Defence Division at RAND, a policy research organisation, providing evidence-based research and analysis for a range of governmental clients. She started her career in a consulting firm, working with the UK MOD, the EU and NATO.
