Call for Posters
HISC 2025: Call for Research Posters
The mission of the High Integrity Software Conference is to share challenges, best practices and experiences between software engineering practitioners. The conference features talks from industrial and academic specialists which disseminate experience and knowledge of important techniques and methods that are applicable across industry sectors.
The Programme Committee would like to invite proposals for posters presenting research and innovations at HISC 2025. These posters will be showcased in the Future Zone section of the exhibition space. More details on how to apply can be found below.
Eligibility
This call is open to anyone involved in academic or industry research, including research students and research assistants. We are interested in all topics relevant to developing high-integrity software applications, including theoretical computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, and related areas, including safety engineering. For information, the themes for this year’s conference can be found on the Call for Presentations page, but it is not mandatory to align your poster with these themes.
Note that posters are not intended for the promotion of products or services. For commercial promotions, please see information on our exhibitors page about how to book an exhibition booth or Spotlight Talk session.
Submissions
Applications must be received by 30th September. However, please note that places are limited, and we cannot guarantee that we will offer all applicants a slot.
To apply, please send an email to programme@his-conference.co.uk containing the following information:
Name: <your full name>
University/Company: <name of academic institution or company where you are conducting your research>
Supervisor: <name of your research/project supervisor or Principal Investigator (PI)>
Summary: <A brief description of your proposed poster in no more than 500 words. This should summarise the key research goals/questions you are addressing, the methodology you are using, and the potential practical applications of your research.>
Costs
Successful applicants (one person per poster) will need to register but will have their delegate fee paid in full by the conference sponsors. The conference also has a limited budget to help with travel and subsistence costs, covering standard class travel up to £250, which can be claimed after the event. Please indicate whether you will require help with travel costs when you make your submission.

After you submit your poster application, a member of the Programme Committee will contact you to confirm acceptance by 10th October at the latest.
As a successful applicant, you will be responsible for designing, printing, and bringing your poster to the conference. Posters should ideally be printed A0-sized for display at the conference on November 13th. Poster boards and push-pins will be provided on the day.
